Stark Colour Scheme

There's been a recent trend towards what I like to call 'stark interiors'- especially in Scandinavia and Europe. Stark interiors are a blend between Scandinavian minimalist interiors and a bold use of black and white colours schemes and industrial details. Pretty self explanatory I'd say. :)

Mint

Some people might say that mint is last year's colour but I still think it's great - especially a muted, greyish mint colour is very much on trend this year. Mint is a great way of introducing some colour into a scheme without overpowering the design with too much of a bold colour palette. Moreover, the white gloss kitchen is going out and matt colour kitchens are in, the simpler the better! I especially love the top image - mint green, matt and marble. Perfection.

Beige

It makes us very displeased when people describe boring interiors or things as 'beige' because we think beige is an amazing colour with a great deal of depth and variety! So many tones and shades of this colour can all be called beige and all have a different strength, warmth and feel. When we say a room is beige, it's a compliment!

Green

We love the colour green but it can be a bit tricky to use sometimes in a minimal interior. Our new project, 10 Golborne Road, or Number 10 as we are calling it, is going to be a GREEN project - both in terms of the way it's built and maybe a little bit of the colour scheme too (we want to create a great visual impact)! Here is some green inspiration to get us in the mood:
