Mood Boards

In our modern interior design lives, we spend almost all of our time on the computer.
That doesn't mean that we have forgotten the importance of the good old fashioned mood board! Before all of our meetings we lay out a good selection of samples and materials for clients to see and we tend to have little collections on our desks next to our computers for inspiration. Never underestimate the value of seeing and feeling the real thing.










Beautiful Bathrooms

Bathrooms are actually my favourite room to design because they're all about simplicity, material interaction and function. My tutor back in uni used to say that if you want to see how well a place is designed, check the bathroom first! So often it's the room that's left until the end and not thought about until the budget is all but gone. A good designer always plans the bathroom in time and it shows!







Dark Wood Floors

As our followers will know, our style is soft and minimal and we almost always opt for lighter colours rather than darker colours - that's just us. That's not to say that we don't consider darker options, as we will always work to whatever the client's brief is. That's why we've recently had to take more of an interest in dark wood floors and we know there are some lovely colours and textures available.
