Dinesen Flooring

We love Dinesen floors - long, wide planks of such high grade you would not believe they came from a living tree (where are the knots?!)

Dinesen floors are instantly recognisable anywhere - they become a design feature in themselves, almost stealing the design by outshining everything else within!

We've previously used Dinesen floors in the Chalet in Gstaad and the floor is probably what gets the most attention with regards to the project (first image below).

Definitely worth the effort of installing (let alone getting them into the house in the first place)!

Since the company was founded in 1898, production has been situated in the small Danish town of Jels. Over the years, production has been expanded and optimised with the best available technology. Havwoods Floors

One of our new favourite wooden floor suppliers is Havwoods. They are an English company that stock a huge array of colours and finishes as well as stocking all the extra accessories we need to finish a floor perfectly, such as thresholds, skirting and stair nosing. The service is also impecable - we order samples almost daily and receive them the next day. However, it is the quality and colour of their engineered wooden floors is what most attracts us to them and we now recommend Havwoods to most of our clients.
